First night ... Robin van Persie heads to dinner at new team-mate Rio Ferdinand's restaurant
ROBIN van Persie arrived in Manchester yesterday and spent his first night at new team-mate Rio Ferdinand's Italian restaurant.
The striker, who sensationally quit his role as Arsenal captain to move to Manchester United in a £22million deal this week, was spotted as he arrived for dinner at Rio's Rosso eatery. The 29-year-old Dutchman, who had played for the London team for eight years before the shock transfer deal, arrived for dinner last night dressed down in a black Mickey Mouse sweatshirt, faded jeans and trainers.
He was accompanied by his wife and the mum of his two children Bouchra.
The 28-year-old looked pretty in skinny jeans, a black v-neck top, a taupe suede jacket and matching peep-toe heels.
