WAYNE ROONEY is ready to return for Manchester United at Newcastle tonight.
The striker has not played since getting a severe gash in his thigh against Fulham last month.Midfielder Darren Fletcher, battling a bowel condition, will start his first game in 10 months in the Capital One Cup tie.
